The Great American Read at the Webster County Library!

The Webster County Library is partnering with Ozarks Public Television to bring the Great American Read closer to home!

PBS’s Great American Read list of 100 books has created a great discussion with our patrons about how many books they have read and how many they still need to catch up on! Old favorites are back in the spotlight and titles many have never heard of have come out of the shadows.

How can you participate? It is super easy! Visit pbs.org or stop by the library to get a list of the 100 books, check mark off what you have read, and then head back to pbs.org to vote for your favorites. You can vote once a day for as many of your favorites as you wish!

You can also vote for your favorites in the Great Ozarks Read! Ozarks Public Television, MSU, and many Southwest Missouri library systems have joined together to bring events and contests to help determine the number one book for the Ozarks! Visit optv.org to vote for your favorite.

The top picks for the Ozarks and national voting are revealed in September and you can vote daily for your favorites.
